In addition, Mr. Kounovsky had completed flood risk assessments and scour analysis reports. Before joining GeoEngineers, Sean worked as an environmental engineer for several years. The position broadened Sean’s remediation experience, as he spent most of his time focusing on cleaning up contaminated soil, water, and air. Mr. Kounovsky conducted remedial investigations and prepared operation and maintenance manuals, engineering cost estimates, health and safety plans, and progress reports. He has provided construction bidding support, conducted remediation system construction oversight, and implemented remediation system O&M. He has gained experience in groundwater pump and treatment (air stripping, adsorption, filtration), in-situ remediation, and vapor treatment. He has experience in soil, groundwater, soil vapor, and air sampling.
